Holiday destination
The house is located in the Prato Magno nature reserve, whose highest peak (1592m) can be reached on foot during a day trip. The location is strategically convenient for visiting the cities of Florence, Arezzo, Siena, as well as the Chianti region. The Vallombrosa nature reserve, with Italy's tallest tree, is easily accessible by car. The surrounding villages of Castelfranco, San Giovanni, and Terranuova are famous examples of 13th-century architecture.

Wir haben unsere Tage an diesem traumhaften Ort sehr genossen. Zwar ist die Anfahrt über die schmale, kurvenreiche und teilweise unbefestigte Straße etwas mühsam, aber man wird am Ziel durch ein fabelhaftes Ambiente belohnt. Der Empfang ist warmherzig, die Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet, was man so braucht. Auch das Kochen für eine fünfköpfige Familie macht dort Spaß. Nachmittage genießt man am Pool, abends schaut man von der Terrasse aus ins Tal. Gelegenheiten für Ausflüge in die sehenswürdigen Städte der Umgebung (z.B. Siena oder Florenz) sind schnell unternommen. Rundum zu empfehlen, dieses liebevoll ausgebaute Idyll und die Gastfreundschaft, die man dort erfahren darf! Danke für die schöne Zeit dort.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne, erholsame , Gaumen freudige Zeit bei Luca und Eva.
Borgo Morgiano liegt weit oben am Berg mit herrlichem Blick ins Tal und auf die Chianti-Hügel.
Einige schöne Wanderungen haben wir vom Haus aus unternommen mit wunderschönen Aussichten.
Enzo, der Hund der Beiden, begleitete uns bei einigen Touren.
Brombeeren vom Wegesrand, Eva's Tomaten(super lecker) waren immer auf unserem Speiseplan.
Von unserer Unterkunft aus sind viele Städte gut mit dem Auto zu erreichen, wie Arezzo, Siena, San Gimignano, Florenz.Haben gar nicht alles geschafft.Eva und Luca sind sehr gute Gastgeber,
haben gute Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen.
Ein Verständigungsproblem gibt es nicht, da sie mehrere Sprachen sehr gut beherrschen. Wir empfehlen unser Quartier mit Olivenbäumen, Lavendel gern weiter
