Holiday destination
The dunes, one of the biggest nature reserves from the Netherlands, perfect for nature lovers. This area offers more than enough routes for walking and cycling. With a pleasant centre, adjacent to the beach where you can rent sunbeds and parasols. The centre, which provides a shopping street with several clothing- and souvenir shops. If you would like to discover the famous cheese city, Alkmaar, it’s only a 15-minute car drive away. Amsterdam is situated 45 minutes by car from Egmond aan Zee.
Getting there
Arriving via A9 Alkmaar, exit Ring Alkmaar, follow N9 to N512 direction Egmond, then direction Centrum Egmond aan Zee.

Haben 14 Tage in dieser schönen geräumigen Wohnung verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Doch gibt es etwas was man verbessern könnte: Auf der Hinterterrasse fehlt eine Lampe . Man saß dort vollkommen im Dunkeln. Auf der Terrasse zur Straßenseite wäre schön wenn dort ein kleines Tischchen als Ablage , zum Beispiel für den Kaffee oder Aschenbecher wäre. Ansonsten alles okay.

Der Aufenthalt in der großen barrierearmen nett und modern eingerichteten Wohnung hat uns sehr gut gefallen Wohnung zentral zum Strand gelegen ( 10 Minuten Fußweg durch die Fußgängerzone. Als Rollstuhlfahrer der sich in der Wohnung jedoch mit einem Gehstock bewegen kann optimal. Ist man jedoch voll auf den Rollstuhl angewiesen, wäre die Toilette mit Rollstuhl nicht erreichbar. Das wurde im Vorfeld von der netten Vermieterin jedoch ehrlich kommuniziert. Küche mit Spülmaschine und Bad mit bodengleicher Dusche und Waschmaschiene gut ausgestattet. Würden jederzeit wieder kommen
