Cancellation policy
The tenant can withdraw from the rental agreement in writing. If the tenant withdraws from the rental agreement, the following proportional amounts are to be paid as compensation, taking into account the expenses saved, provided that the property cannot be rented out to someone else.
Withdrawal up to 60 days before the start of the rental period: 10% of the rental price
Withdrawal up to 30 days before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
Withdrawal up to 20 days before the start of the rental period: 60% of the rental price
Thereafter (less than 10 days before the start of the rental period): 90% of the rental price.

Holiday destination
Located on the Goeree-Overflakkee peninsula, right on the saltwater arm of the North Sea on the beautiful island, in the Grevelingenmeer, the largest and cleanest saltwater lake in Europe.
The open North Sea can be reached by car in about 20 minutes.
The Grevelingenmeer is ideal for surfing, sailing, and sport fishing. The small sandy beach in Herkingen is recommended for families.
The heated swimming pool with a separate children's pool and sun loungers, as well as free WIFI, is available to you from May 15th to September 15th and is included in the rental price. A tennis court is available for a fee. There are several playgrounds, playfields, and a table tennis table.
The small cozy town of Herkingen is located in the south of the island of Goeree-Overflakkee. It is rural, tranquil, and offers everything you need for daily necessities and restful holidays - a supermarket, bakery, bicycle rental, cozy restaurants, and a marina.
In the town itself, there is a small bakery and a small supermarket. Within a radius of about 10 km, there are more shopping facilities, such as Lidl in Middelharnis.
Getting there
Coming from NRW via Eindhoven, Tilburg, Breda to Rotterdam and then to Middelharnis. Exit at Oude Tonge and then follow the signs to HERKINGEN.
In Herkingen, turn right onto Peuterdijk and follow the road to the second barrier on the left side. You have reached your destination.

Einfach ein toller Ort für entspannten Urlaub. Der Garten mit Sitzecke, überdachter Terasse und Whirlpool laden zum entspannen ein. Im Haus ist alles was man brauch, die Küche ist super ausgestattet mit allen Gerätennund Werkzeugen die man so brauch. Wir nehmen immer etwas mit weil man ja nie weiß, aber hier war alles vorhanden und wir brauchten unsere mitgebrachten Messer usw nicht schmutzig machen :P
Auch unseren 7 Monate alten Welpen hat es sehr gefallen, da das Grundstück komplett unzäunt ist, brauchten wir auch keine Angst haben ihn frei im Garten zu lassen.

Von Anfang an haben wir uns in der Unterkunft unglaublich wohlgefühlt, es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Das Grundstück ist wunderschön gepflegt und das Haus besticht durch absolute Sauberkeit. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch die herzliche Betreuung durch Dirk, der sich regelmäßig erkundigt hat, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Man hatte sofort das Gefühl, dass eventuelle Probleme umgehend behoben worden wären. Selten haben wir so bemühte und freundliche Vermieter erlebt.
