Holiday destination
Soiano del Lago, an enchanting town near Lake Garda on the Brescia side, takes its name from "Solis ianua" (literally “Gateway of the Sun”) which is enough to define the characteristics of this small village in Valtenesi, rich in vineyards and olive trees surrounded the green of the hills. In Soiano del Lago, the Castle dating back to the 10th century is definitely worth a visit, as it is also the site of events during the summer. To visit nearby, there is Moniga del Garda with its splendid beaches and Castle of Padenghe.
For guests who prefer a relaxing trip, it is possible to reach Salò and take a boat to visit the lake while sailing.
The hinterland of Soiano del Lago offers quiet places surrounded by the typical olive trees of the Valtenesi area, on Lake Garda, where tourists can take part to tastings and stop at local restaurants to taste the typical "spiedo bresciano" (meat and potatoes slowly cooked on a revolving spit).
The apartment is located about 20 minutes by car from the Desenzano train station and about 35 minutes from the airport.
Covering an area of 110 hectares, "Gardagolf County Club" includes 27 holes between the Rocca di Manerba, the castle of Soiano and the hills of Valtenesi with a suggestive view.
From the apartment you can easily reach the main attractions, such as: Cantina Costaripa in Moniga, the beach of Moniga, La Rocca di Manerba, the famous peninsula of Sirmione (30 minutes by car) and the amusement parks for kids and adults of Gardaland (35 minutes by car) and Caneva Aquapark (water park 40 minutes by car).
The historic city of Verona is 45 minutes away by car or 35 minutes by train from the Desenzano del Garda/Sirmione train station. The cities of Venice and Milan are also easily accessible by road or rail.
Lake Garda also offers boat rentals, cycling on the hills, rock climbing, golf, wine and local produce tasting and various excursions.
The apartment is easily accessible from the nearby Villafranca Airport in Verona, which is only 40 minutes away by car.

Schöne Wohnung mit ein paar Mängel!Die Wohnung hat eine schöne Aufteilung es ist dort eigentlich auch super ruhig wenn nicht der Nachbar Hund immer gebellt hätte! Schöner Pool auf der Anlage mit einen netten Bademeister der aufpasst und Dir auch gleich einen Sonnenschirm anbietet zu den Liegen! Die Wohnung liegt im 1 Stock was kein Problem ist und die Ausstattung ist sehr nett ! Der Parkplatz ist direkt vor der Tür!Da wir eine Woche da waren hätte ich mir einen Staubsauger gewünscht um die Wohnung mal kurz durchzusaugen zwischendurch da ja doch etwas Dreck anfällt! Und traurig bei dem Preis das es nur 1 Rolle Klopapier gab bei der Ankunft! Die Küche sollte man genauso Sauber wieder hinterlassen wie man Sie vorgefunden hat sonst müsste man 50 Euro zahlen!Finde ich aber auch schwierig wenn es nur 1 Lappen hat und 1 Geschirrhandtuch von Reinigungsmittel mal ganz abgesehen! Da ich schon gelesen hatte hatte das es nur eine Illy Kaffeemaschine gibt hatten wir die Kapseln schon besorgt aber die scheint auch nicht mehr ganz in Ordnung zu sein da der Kaffee sehr mickerrich da rauskommt! Bei uns ging der Herd nicht nachdem wir den einmal den Strom komplett ausgeschaltet hatten funktionierte er dann wieder! Der Wasserdruck in der Wohnung ist auch sehr schwach was bei einer so hochwertigen Wohnung doch schade ist!
