Holiday destination
You are located in the midst of nature in the Biosphere reserve of Nockberge at an elevation of 1850 m in a perfect location on a quiet side street. Through the hillside location you'll enjoy a free view of the surrounding mountain peaks and in a few minutes on foot you'll reach all highlights, such as the Falkertsee, the Heidialm Mountain Resort, the ski lifts, climbing and hiking options, Nordic trails, tobogganing runs, climbing walls and the bes: everything can be reached without a car.
Getting there
The address is Falkertsee 191, 8564 Patergassen. Coming from Germany, drive toward Salzburg, then take the A10 towards Villach and exit at the Millstätter See. Then via Radenthein towards Bad Kleinkirchheim to Patergassen, where you take the exit for Falkert (Heidialm). Follow the road for 7 km up the mountain until you turn into the exit towards "Kärntnerhaus". Directly after the Kärntnerhaus, a left turn leads uphill; after about 200 m, you will find the chalets on the right and left side. The country road over the Turracher Höhe is only recommended for pleasure and motorcycling excursions. The nearest train station is Spittal-Millstätter See.

In our Heidi Chalets, you will find an interesting mixture of traditional solid wood construction with ecological construction and modern comfort. Furnished with great attention to detail, it is the perfect place to relax in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site Nockberge at 1,850 meters above sea level. Let yourself be enchanted by the unique pine forests, the crystal clear mountain water, the clean mountain air, and, of course, by our chalets. All of our luxury chalets are not far from Falkertsee in a sunny south-facing and panoramic location. In winter, you have private access to the cross-country ski run.
