The Harzbude is in the immediate vicinity of one of the largest national forest parks in Germany, the Harz National Park, in the heart of Braunlage. Cable car, town centre, spa park and ice rink are within walking distance, as are ski and bike rentals.

via the A7/A2 and A36 from Braunschweig via Bad Harzburg (B4)

via the A14 and A36 via Blankenburg (B27)
From the south and south-west
via the A7 from Göttingen via Herzberg (B27) or the A38 from Nordhausen via Bad Sachsa (B243)
Free parking is possible approx. 100m away on Elbingeröder Straße. It is possible to stop in the yard for loading and unloading.
You can travel by train via Bad Harzburg, Wernigerode or Walkenried and continue from there by bus. Alternatively, take the Harz narrow-gauge railway to Elend station and from there continue by taxi (approx. 6km).
