Cancellation policy
The following scale applies:
120 to 92 days before the arrival date: 50% of the agreed
total amount, a minimum of 500 euro.
91 to 28 days before the arrival date: 60% of the agreed total amount.
Less than 28 days before the arrival date: 100% of the agreed total amount.
It is generally advisable to purchase holiday cancellation insurance for the entire price of your trip
(including flights, accommodation, etc.).
In the event of any COVID-19 illnesses, we will refund 100%.

Holiday destination
The village of Sivas is located approx. 62 km away from Heraklion and sits at an altitude of 110 m on the western side of the Asteroussia mountain range in the western part of the Messará plain, not far from the village of Matala. Sivas is only around 3 km away from the Libyan Sea.
You can enjoy wonderful walks and cycle trips through Crete's natural surroundings and head to unspoilt villages and a variety of cultural attractions.
If you have a rental car, you can also take trips out to the archaeological sites at Festós, Agia Triada and Górtys, the famous Matala caves, and Odigítrias monastery. The magnificent, sandy Komos beach is approx. 3 km away. The bays of Agios Farangos and Vathi feature crystal-clear water and are inviting places for a dip.
Getting there
Travel by aeroplane to Heraklion or Chania.
Travel by car and ferry via Italy.
Heraklion Airport is about 1 hour away from Sivas. It's easy to get to Sivas via taxi, bus or rental car.
We would also be happy to help you with your transfer to Villa Kritikos, our holiday residence.

Wir haben die 2 Wochen sehr genossen. Die Bilder hier versprechen nicht zu viel - sind nicht geschönt wie bei einigen anderen... Eigentlich ist es live noch schöner, als es die Bilder wiedergeben können. Bei der Lage am Dorfrand war ich erst skeptisch, aber das war unbegründet: die Nachbarschaft ist absolut ruhig. Die Lage ist auch deshalb einmalig, weil man zur einen Seite den tollen Panoramablick Richtung Pitsidia und Meer hat, zur anderen Seite aber auch den Blick aufs Dorf, die Messara-Ebene und das Psiloritis-Gebirge. So einen 360°-Blick findet man selten. Im Haus ist alles hochwertig und es hat alles funktioniert - was ja auch nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Die Vermieter und der Service vor Ort sind jederzeit erreichbar und geben gute Tipps. Vielen Dank! Gerne wieder...

Die Villa Kritikos ist ein toller Ort zum entspannen und genießen. Die Lage ist einmalig mit dem Blick Richtung Meer und fast jedem Abend einem wunderschönen Sonnenuntergang. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, in der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und auch draußen gibt es genug Liegen und Sitzgelegenheiten. Es gibt einen umlaufenden Balkon, von wo aus man verschiedene Perspektiven auf Dorf und Umgebung hat. Den Pool und die Gegenstromdüse haben wir ausgiebig genutzt, ein Traum bei hohen Temperaturen. Der Garten und Pool sind sehr gepflegt, es kommt regelmäßig eine Gärtnerfirma und jemand zum Pool reinigen. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter ist sehr nett und herzlich, er kümmert sich um jedes Anliegen. Es ist nicht unser erster Urlaub in dem Haus gewesen und wir kommen jedes Jahr sehr gerne wieder!
