The World Heritage Site Middle Rhine Valley invites you to hike on the Rhine steep path and Wispertrail. The cultural offer in the Rheingau is enormous. In Lorch, the parish church of St. Martin with the high altar from 1483 is worth a guided tour. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments and shopping in the village. Visit the surrounding castles or the Rheinpfalz Kaub, take a boat trip with the white fleet, take the cable car to the Niederwald in Aulhausen.....

From direction Frankfurt / Wiesbaden, A66 in the direction of Rüdesheim, B42 to Lorch, turn right from B42 to Lorch/Wispertal, after the railway underpass turn left before Bäckerei Driess, then turn right at the fire station into Jahnstraße, which continues into the street "Am Rebenhang" until house no. 55.
Coming from Cologne, take the A3 towards Frankfurt until the Dernbach junction, take the A48 towards Koblenz until the Bendorf/Neuwied junction, keep going towards Koblenz/Vallendar, follow the B42 towards Rüdesheim until Lorch, turn left off the B42 to Lorch.
From Bonn (motorway A61):
by ferry- take the A61 in the direction of Koblenz/Mainz to the Rheinböllen junction, turn right in the direction of Bacharach, in Bacharach turn right onto the B9 in the direction of Mainz, in Niederheimbach turn left to the Rhine ferry to Lorch,

without using the ferry: take the A61 in the direction of Koblenz until the Koblenz junction, change to the A48 in the direction of Koblenz until the Bendorf/Neuwied junction, follow the B42 in the direction of Rüdesheim until Lorch, turn left off the B42 to Lorch

Lorch is about 65 km from Frankfurt Airport and about 50 km from Frankfurt Hahn Airport.
