Holiday destination
In the village Julianadorp you will find anything you need: several shops, supermarkets, pubs, restaurants, tenniscourt, midgetgolf, swimmingpool, golfcourt and sports school.
In Den Helder, about 6 km from Julianadorp, you can visit the Navymuseum (with submarine), the Lifeboatmuseum, the lighter Texel, the museum harbour, a big playground, bowling centre, gaming-hall and a big cinema.
In Den Helder is also a Japanese garden, the Käthe Kruse Doll- and Toymuseum and the restored Napoleonic fortress Kijkduin with a Northsea aquarium.
Both Den Helder and the ferry to Texel you can easily reach by way of
good walking- and cycle-tracks through the dunes or via the cycle- and canoe-route. During the summer many events are organised.

Wir haben für 1 Woche in diesem Ferienhaus Urlaub gemacht.
Das Wetter hat mitgespielt, daher konnte man auch einiges unternehmen. Den Helder ist mit dem Auto in ein paar Minuten zu erreichen, dort kann man ganz gut shoppen.
Der Strand ist fußläufig zu erreichen, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ebenfalls, sofern man etwas weiter spazieren möchte.
Das Haus war sauber, hatte alle Utensilien die man im Alltag benötigt.
Einziges Manko: eine Rolle Toilettenpapier könnte man bei der Ankunft ja doch hinterlassen. Alles in allem ein schönes Haus, mit tollem Garten, der jedoch offen gehalten ist (nicht eingezäunt). Dafür kann man mit dem Auto direkt am Haus parken.

Wir habe zwei wundervolle Wochen in dem Ferienhaus verbringen dürfen. Alles, aber wirklich alles war für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt vorhanden. Sauber und gepflegt. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit einer kompletten Küche. Einzig das obligatorische Wifi fehlt. Allerdings ist das kein „Muss“ und auch kein Kritikpunkt. Für die Ferienplanung wäre es aber ganz praktisch. Wir werden gerne wieder unseren Urlaub dort verbringen. Die Planung läuft schon :-)
