The apartment is located in Berkenthin, the pearl of the Elbe-Lübeck Canal in a green, hilly environment. The path along the canal is ideal for cycling or hiking. In summer you can enjoy the refreshment of the swimming lakes.
In autumn you can relax while hiking in the colourful forests along the lake shore, watch cranes and, with luck, sea eagles.
Attractive excursion destinations include: Ratzeburg, Mölln, the Hanseatic City of Lübeck (UNESCO World Heritage Site with Gothic brick buildings), Schwerin (castle), beaches on the Baltic Sea and, last but not least, Hamburg

Wir waren zum erstenmal hier in Berkenthin. Rundrum ein erholsamer Urlaub bei hervoragendem Wetter. Wir haben uns bei Familie Backhaus sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet und es fehlt an nichts. Für Ruhe und Erholung haben wir alles richtig gemacht. Herr und Frau Backhaus sind mit ihrer ruhigen und freundlichen Art tolle Vermieter und für Tipps oder auch einen kurzen Plausch immer zu haben.
Definitiv weiterzuempfehlen.

Manche Urlauber kennen das Gefühl bei Anreise: Überzeugt die Beschreibung der Ferienwohnung vor Ort? Entweder will man nach Ankunft sofort wieder nach Hause oder man gewinnt den Eindruck, dass man ewig bleiben könnte. Das Ehepaar Backhaus gehört zu jenen FE-Vermietern, die beweisen, dass man mit einem vorzüglichen Gespür für eine super schöne, gemütliche Wohnungseinrichtung und sympathischer Ausstrahlung Urlaubern das Gefühl 'von Seele baumeln lassen' geben kann. Die ruhig gelegene Wohnung ist hyggelig, bietet pure Erholung und ist dadurch empfehlenswert. Beide Terrassen laden auch im Herbst noch zum Verweilen ein, wenn man nicht gerade wandert oder Städte wie z.B. Lübeck, Ratzeburg, Mölln oder Travemünde erkundet.
