Cancellation policy
4. Cancellation
You can cancel your travel agreement with Casa Texel.
The following cancellation fees will apply:
- If you cancel up to 42 days before the day of arrival: 30% of the rental fee;
- If you cancel from the 42nd day (inclusive) to the 28th day before the day of arrival: 60% of the rental fee;
- If you cancel from the 28th day (inclusive) until the day of arrival: 90% of the rental fee; if you cancel on the day of arrival or later: the full rental fee.
Would you like to cancel? You can do so by phone or email. The date on which you communicate your cancellation to us by email or phone will be considered the day of cancellation.
Cancellation Insurance
You do not have the option to take out cancellation insurance via our website.
Additional Cancellation Terms Regarding Pandemics, Epidemics, etc.
If government measures related to pandemics, epidemics, etc., are in force during the rented period, the following applies at the time of cancellation:
a. If both the rented accommodation is temporarily not allowed to be used and you are not allowed to travel or form a group, you will pay a fee to Casa Texel of 50% of the agreed price.
b. If you are not allowed to, cannot, or do not dare to travel due to government measures, but the accommodation is allowed to receive you, cancellation fees will be charged according to article 4 of these conditions.
c. If the rented accommodation is temporarily not allowed to be used by Casa Texel, but you are allowed to travel, you will be offered to move the stay for free (subject to availability within the same calendar year) or the amount already paid will be refunded.

Host informationI warmly welcome you to Texel. I made the decision to move to the island myself in 2008 and have felt more at home here ever since than ever before. With Casa Texel, I also offer you this warm home on Texel.
Since moving to the island, I have gained a lot of experience in the tourism sector. In 2010, I started renting out my own small apartment, and over the years, this has grown into managing 16 holiday apartments on Texel. In addition, I worked at Hotel Tatenhove, at the reception of Grand Hotel Opduin, and at VVV Texel.
What I enjoy most is working with and for people, and that's why I simply enjoy the contact with you as my guests. Of course, during your stay with Casa Texel, you can expect a hospitable and personal contact. With a lot of love and enthusiasm for the profession, I make sure that you lack nothing during your stay on Texel. My aim is for you to feel at home so that you can fully enjoy all the beautiful things the island has to offer.
