About ten minutes' walk from the house you'll reach Rudower Lake – a body of water that's nearly four kilometres long, surrounded by forest and fields, and features a natural bathing beach. The lake enjoys direct access to Rambower Moor – a place of unique flora and fauna that was named "Natural Wonder 2014". A particularly impressive sight in spring and autumn is the arrival of the cranes and wild geese, which sleep in the shelter of the moor. Many beautiful hiking and biking trails in the vicinity will help your body and soul relax and unwind. There's a direct cycle connection to the Elbe Cycle Route in the beautiful floodplain landscape of the "Elbe-Brandenburg River Landscape" UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Another highlight is a tour of the nearby municipality of Dömitz in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania with its impressive 16th-century fortress. The Lenzen and Lütkenwisch ferries on the Elbe allow you to make a quick crossing of the former border river into the Lower Saxon region of Wendland, from where such attractions as the Wendlandtherme thermal spa in Gartow and Nemitz Heath are just a few kilometres away. There's also an hourly bus to Wittenberge, which enjoys a direct connection to the regional train to Berlin.
Getting there
When you reach Lenzen, drive in the direction of Wittenberge; turn left in the direction of the campsite (you'll see three flagpoles) after around 3 kilometres. After one kilometre you'll spot the yellow Bungalow No. 1 right next to the road.
If you're coming from Wittenberge, turn right in the direction of the campsite about 3 kilometres after Ferbitz.
To park, please drive through the gate to the grounds and park immediately on the left in the 1st parking space.

Ein toller kleiner Bungalow mit schönem Garten. Ruhige Lage, direkt an Wald und See. Dennoch alles schnell erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und der Kontakt mit den Vermietern war auch sehr freundlich. Wir werden auf jeden Fall nächstes Jahr wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.
