Other recreational opportunities
You have the opportunity to take boat trips to the other islands as well as seal watching tours. Other attractions include the spectacular exercises with the old lifeboat that take place regularly during the summer months, as well as the large bonfires on the beach. The tractor rides along the beach are also interesting. Additionally, various markets and other events are held in the respective villages during the summer months. Holiday destination
The island is characterized by its magnificent nature with forests, dunes, heathlands, and of course, the Wadden Sea. It has an approximately 26 km long sandy beach.
The holiday home is located in the bungalow area Roosduinen, close to the outdoor swimming pool at the edge of the forest. The beach is about a 20-30 minute walk away, and the town of Ballum, with various shopping facilities, bicycle rental, as well as a doctor and dentist, is about 10 minutes away. There is a laundromat at the outdoor pool. The campsite with playgrounds and riding stables is about 1 km away.
Getting there
The bungalow Apollo is located on the North Sea island of Ameland and can be reached in about 45 minutes by ferry from Holwerd. Please book this in advance at www.npd.nl!

Ein perfektes Ferienhaus, es fehlt an nichts sehr ruhige Lage riesengroßer Garten. Ein großes Lob an die Vermieterin für das tolle Haus. Und noch ein Lob an die Reinigungskraft ,das Haus war sehr sauber.
Wir werden dieses Haus auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Es war unser erster Urlaub auf Ameland .Der Bungalow ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und es ist alles in der Küche vorhanden, was man braucht ,es fehlt wirklich nichts .Schön ist auch, daß große Grundstück und das es sehr ruhig dort gelegen ist .In der Nähe ein Wald zum spazieren für unseren Hund. Zum Strand sind wir immer nach Hollum gefahren ,der hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Fahrräder hatten wir uns schon vorher online bestellt und das tolle war sie standen schon am Anreisetag am Bungalow. Sehr netter Kontakt auch zu den Vermietern.
