    Lugano is a cultural city with a lot of choice. Before you arrive you should research the internet and order eventually the tickets in time. (www.luganoeventi.ch, eventi@lugnao.ch, +0041588667440), (luganoregion.com, +41582206500)The well-kept town is also a perfect starting point for hikes and explorations in Ticino. The public connections work to the minute. A trip to the metropolis of Milan with the Tilo train (cheaper) is worthwhile.
    Holiday destination
    The apartment is located in one of the most beautiful, sun-kissed areas of Lugano, Castagnola. In 15 minutes you can reach the lake and the center on a footpath (including several steps!). It is 500m to the bus station of line 2, which goes to the lake and the center. It is 10 minutes to the sunny footpath, along the lake to Gandria, in 5 minutes you are in Park Michele and in the vineyards. In 10 minutes you are at the Funicolare stop up Monte Brè.
    Getting there
    By car on the motorway from Zurich / Basel to Milan, exit Lugano Süd or Nord, then towards Gandria By train from Zurich 2 hours and 10 minutes, then bus number 2 final stop and 500 meters straight ahead. The apartment is on the left. Bus 2 runs every 20 minutes. A trip costs 2.30CHF. The machine accepts euros and francs, only coins or credit cards.

    Diese 2.5-Zimmer-Wohnung ist ein Traum. Die Aussicht atemberaubend, tags und nachts zauberhaft, man kann nie genug davon kriegen und zehrt zuhause noch lang davon. Die Wohnung ist ideal für zwei Personen, das Wohn-/Esszimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet und es steht ein Begrüssungspéro auf dem Tisch. Das Schlafzimmer hat ein gutes Bett und einen grossen Spiegelschrank. Die Küche ist klein aber fein, alles Notwendige ist da und der Kühlschrank gefüllt mit einem ersten Frühstück. Das Bad ist praktisch und vollständig eingerichtet. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl, wie zu Hause.

    Sehr schöne Wohnung, die einen wunderbaren Panoramablick auf den See und rüber nach Lugano bietet. Die Küchenutensilien sind vielleicht etwas "durcheinander" einsortiert und man merkt hier und da, dass die Wohnung viel bewohnt ist, aber trotzdem kann man sich hier wohlfühlen. Dass es ein Stück des Weges bis hinunter in die Stadt ist, wusste ich von meinen vorangegangenen Aufenthalten in Lugano und stört mich persönlich auch überhaupt nicht, da ich gerne zu Fuß unterwegs bin. Die Gastegeberin, Frau Mallebrein, ist an ihren Gästen interessiert und hat sich im Vorfeld, während und am Ende der Reise immer wieder erkundigt, ob alles in Ordnung ist. Vielen Dank dafür! Wirklich schade, dass der Urlaub schon wieder vorbei ist!
