General
We have compiled the content of our website with great care. We do not accept liability for any changes. The details mentioned in the booking confirmation are legally binding. The agent always has the right to ask guests for a valid ID, to refuse a booking request, or to impose additional rental conditions. Verbal agreements and/or agreements made by the agent are only valid if they have been confirmed in writing.
Number of Persons
1. The number of persons occupying the property should not be exceeded. This includes children and babies.
2. If the house is occupied by more people than agreed upon in the contract, it will lead to immediate termination of the contract without compensation.
Arrival and Departure
1. Arrival time is from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
2. Departure is by 10:00 AM at the latest.
3. The tenant must strictly adhere to these times unless otherwise agreed in advance and recorded.
4. In the event of late arrival or early departure, the tenant is not entitled to a refund of the rent.
5. On the day of departure, the tenant must leave the house in a clean condition, including emptying the dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, fridge, freezer, oven, and trash bins, and the house should be swept clean.
6. If you have rented bed linen and towels, please deposit these in plastic bags and hand them over to Rental Agency Callantsoog.
Payment
The payment terms are stated in your rental contract. The first installment is due within two weeks of receipt and the remaining amount 4 weeks before arrival. For bookings within 4 weeks, the entire payment is due. If the payment obligation is not met after the first reminder, the reservation will be canceled without obligation to refund any deposit already paid. The landlord reserves the right to request a deposit, which must be paid in advance or upon arrival. The deposit will be refunded upon departure after inspection or credited to your account.
Cleaning
1. Final cleaning is mandatory and not included in the rent.
2. Report any complaints about the cleanliness of the property upon arrival to the reception of Rental Agency Callantsoog, so they can rectify it.
3. Financial compensation for complaints made afterward is excluded.
Pets
1. Bringing pets is only possible in properties where they are allowed.
2. Pets are not allowed in the bedrooms.
3. We ask you to bring covers to protect the furniture.
4. An additional charge may be requested if there are hairs on the furniture or beds and extra cleaning is required.
Liability
1. The tenant remains liable for any damage caused, even if the damage is determined after the end of the stay. This damage must be fully compensated.
2. The tenant is obliged to report any damage to Rental Agency Callantsoog immediately.
3. The landlord/tenant is not responsible for theft or damage to personal effects and consequences of accidents that happen to tenants in or near the house.
Cancellation
Rental Agency Callantsoog assumes that you have taken out travel and cancellation insurance, as well as liability insurance. You can only cancel your booking in writing. If you cancel your holiday, you will owe the booking fee and the following amounts will be due:
• more than 91 days before arrival: 20% of the rent
• from 90 days to 61 days before arrival: 50% of the rent
• from 60 days to 31 days before arrival: 75% of the rent
• from 30 days to 14 days before arrival: 90% of the rent
• less than 14 days before arrival or without prior notice: The total amount
Withdrawal by the Owner
If unforeseeable circumstances prevent us from honoring the booking, we will refund the rent already paid. Claims by the tenant are expressly excluded in this case.
