Holiday destination
Our apartment is located in Buren in the Amelander Paradijs and faces south. In the immediate vicinity, you'll find several restaurants, a supermarket, and even an indoor swimming pool. The wide sandy beach is just about 700 meters away. From Buren, you can embark on great excursions.
Getting there
You can comfortably drive to the ferry terminal in Holwerd from any direction. If you wish to take your car to the island, we recommend making a car reservation in advance at www.wpd.nl.
If you prefer to travel by train, your usual destination station will be Leeuwarden - from there, you can quickly and comfortably take a taxi to Holwerd for about 40 euros, or even more affordably, continue with a subsequent bus ride. By taxi, depending on traffic, the journey takes about 30 minutes - by bus, it takes around 50 minutes.
