Holiday destination
Bonnewitz with its landmarked village centre lies nestled at the foot the Borsberg, an idyllic landscape, and yet only 4 km from Dresden's city limits, 5 km from Pirna's medieval town centre and 2 km from Saxon Switzerland. From here you can explore the hiking region around the Borsberg with its royal hunting trails via the Hohe Brücken, or follow the Dichter-Musiker-Maler-Weg, a long-distance hiking trails leading from Dresden-Loschwitz to Saxon Switzerland. Pillnitz Castle, Stolpen Castle, the Bastion, the Saxon Switzerland National Park, Weesenstein Castle and the Barockgarten Großsedlitz (park) are no more than 15 km from your accommodation. The bus -line 63- will take you from the village centre to Dresden's city centre.
Getting there
By car: travelling from Prague via the A17, take the exit Pirna and continue straight ahead until you reach Bonnewitz (about 9 km); or you can take the S-Bahn (suburban train) from Dresden to Pirna, where you will be picked up.

Wir hatten einen tollen Familienurlaub über Weihnachten! Herzlichen Dank nochmals dafür! Es ist ein ganz tolles Ferienhaus mit vielen schönen Details und mit viel Liebe eingerichtet incl. sehr nette Vermieter ! Wir waren mit 2 Familien und Oma und Opa dort ( insg. mit 10 Pers. - 4 Kinder 6 Erw.) und es war einfach nur ideal für uns.... Platz für Alle mit Rückzugmöglichkeit! Viele Spiele für die Kinder für drinnen und draußen vorhanden! Der Bäcker ist im Nachbarort, nicht weit entfernt - mit super Brötchen! Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind auch nicht weit entfernt... Viele Prospekte über Ausflugmöglichkeiten im Haus vorhanden. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten Bastei, Königstein, Dresden, Moritzburg super zu erreichen und auch ein tolles Ziel mit Kindern. Wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder !!!

Ein altes Haus, welches mit viel Liebe wieder aufgebaut wurde - und das richtig gut. Wir hatten das ganze Haus gemietet und außen, wie innen genügend Platz. Großes Lob! Bonnewitz ist wirklich ein sehr kleiner Ort. Das sollte man wissen. Ansonsten ist man mit dem Auto ganz schnell in Pirna oder der Sächsischen Schweiz und der Dresdner Stadtbus fährt praktisch bis vors Haus. Wenn man den Umgebungsbegriff etwas weiter fasst, ist diese natürlich auch sehr gut!
