Anderen is a characteristic village in the landscape of the Drentsche Aa. The landscape offers lovely hiking, cycling and riding tours. The environment offers many excursion options, such as the brook landscape or lake with sandy beach and also the provincial capitals of Assen and Groningen.
The sea island of Schiermonnikoog can be visited within one day.

The house is on the edge of the village of Anderen. The village is about 10 km east of Assen between the villages of Rolde and Gieten.
