The Paterhaus is located on the eastern edge of Höfen, a district of Monschau and is 2 minutes walk from Wildnistrail and Eifelsteig (end stage 2 / beginning stage 3). The historic old town of Monschau can be reached on foot in about 20 minutes.
Getting there
Leave motorway A4 / A44 at exit Lichtenbusch. Follow the federal road B258 to Monschau - district Höfen.
At the entrance of the village turn left into the street Bruchweg (behind Koch's snackbar), after about 200m you will find the Paterhaus on the right side.

Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend, von der aus man viele Wanderungen oder Fahrradtouren (E-/Mountainbike) unternehmen kann.
Der große Vorteil war das geräumige Nebengebäude, das als Kühlschrank, Fahrradabstellraum und Lagerraum diente.
Es gab genügend Gläser, Teller, Besteck (kein Kinderbesteck).
Die Ausstattung der Küche könnte etwas erweitert werden, wie z.B. extra Pfanne, Pürierstab, Mikrowelle, Dunstabzugshaube, Serviergeschirr und Schalen (backofenfest).
Die Schlafzimmer waren sehr geräumig und die Betten waren in Ordnung.
Die Dusche im Erdgeschoss war sehr angenehm.
Wenn man mit Kindern (für mehrere Tage) reist, wäre eine Waschmaschine allerdings nützlich.
