Cancellation policy
There is no right of withdrawal within the meaning of the Italian Consumer Protection Code. Nevertheless, we grant you a right of withdrawal to the following cancellation conditions in the sense of Art. 1382 ZGB:
The reservation can be cancelled at the latest 90 days before the day of arrival without payment of a cancellation fee. Only the deposit will be retained.
In the event of cancellations by the guest between the 90th day before the agreed arrival date and the arrival date itself, the guest is obliged to pay the following cancellation fee:
- Cancellation between 90 days and 30 days before the arrival date: 40% of the agreed total price.
- Cancellation between 30 days and 7 days prior to arrival: 70% of the agreed total price.
- Cancellation less than 7 days before the day of arrival or in case of no show of the guest or early departure of the guest is the full payment for the entire booking period owed.
Any deposit already paid will be deducted from the cancellation fee.
Please inform us in time if you cannot start your vacation, because cancellation is unpleasant for all involved. It is a pity if apartments remain vacant, but something unexpected can happen to anyone.
We recommend that you take out the "Roter Hahn-Stornoschutz". This way the cancellation fees can be covered and you can look forward to your holiday without worries. Further information can be found on our website: www.proefinghof.com

Our farm is situated in the middle of fruit orchards on the edge of the picturesque village of Parcines. The secluded location lends a quiet atmosphere and yet the SPA-town of Merano is in the immediate vicinity and can also be reached quickly by public transport. The Pröfinghof is located at the entrance to the "Texel Group Nature Park" and numerous hiking trails lead directly from our farm to the South Tyrolean alpine pastures and mountains or to the famous waterfall of Parcines.

Coming from Meran approx. 7 km direction Vinschgau to Partschins.

Wir waren das vierte Mal auf dem Pröfinghof und haben zwei verschiedene Wohnungen ausprobiert. Die Wohnungen sind super sauber, gut ausgestattet und haben einen Balkon, wenn man den großzügigen Garten nicht nutzen möchte. Die sehr nahe Umgebung ermöglicht viele verschiedene Unternehmungen - Wanderungen von ganz leicht bis zum Klettersteig, Fahrradfahren (gute Kondition oder ebike)., Meran oder kleinere Orte sind sehr gut zu erreichen. Das ganz besondere Highlight ist die Offenheit und Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber. Es gibt immer ein freundliches Wort, ein kleines Gespräch oder total viele Tipps für mögliche Unternehmungen. Wir haben uns sehr gefreut eine der ersten Gäste in dieser sehr gelungenen und hochwertig umgebauten Scheune zu sein!
Es war ein Urlaub, wie wir uns Ihn vorgestellt haben.Viel Sonne mitten in einer beeindruckender Berglandschaft. Die Wohnung war sehr gut und modern ausgestattet und ausgesprochen sauber. Die Familie Tappeiner sehr sympathisch und immer hilfsbereit.
Von hier aus konnten wir viele Ausflugsziele mit wenig Fahrzeiten per Bus oder zu Fuß erreichen. Im Ort gibts es mehrere Möglichkeiten sehr gut Essen zu gehen.Es wird bestimmt nicht unser letzter Urlaub auf dem Pröfinghof gewesen sein.
