Cancellation policy
ENGLISH TRANSLATION: If the tenant withdraws from the contract he owes a remuneration as follows:
withdrawel up to 44 days before the rent ist beginning 30% of the rent
withdrawel up to 30 days before the rent ist beginning 50% of the rent
withdrawel up to 14 days before the rent ist beginning 80% of the rent
The declaration of withdrawel has to be done in writing. For the calculation of the a.m. deadlines the reception of the said written declaration of withdrawel by the owner of the house is decisive.
If the WAKENITZ-VILLA 1922 can be rented under the same conditionto someone elses, the former tenant is only charged a processing fee of 5% of the rental price, but at least 50.00 €. If the holiday home can only be rented at a discount, the former tenant must pay the difference amount, plus the processing fee, but not exceeding the amount resulting from paragraph 1.

Theater 23 on the Wakenitz + botanical / school garden 10 minutes on foot; within about 10 min. walking distance the entire old town island UNESCO World Heritage Site, several museums, churches, very complete night & cultural live, Nordic Film Days etc..Baltic Sea beach Travemünde in approx. 18 km distance (also easily accessible by bicycle); Lauer Holz, WAKENITZ hiking trail; Skating over the frozen WAKENITZ in winter or pulling the children by sledge (sledge available).

On a large water property with private access to the river WAKENITZ you can experience - even after completion of your visits or conferences - a very special atmosphere in your own home in one of Lübeck's most prestigious 1920s - residential area, about 10 on foot / 3 minutes by bike or busfrom the old town island, with views over the waters on LÜBECKs Church towers. -- Lecture and photorecommendation: "Wilde, wilde WAKENITZ" SPIEGEL-Online / SPON 29/05/2019 - The short walk to the historic center takes you over WAKENITZ & Moltkebrücke past gorgeous old-style villas to the Elbe-Lübeck Canal, which flows around the ancient city island. - Kiosk, grocery stores, antique shops & cafes & restaurants, pharmacy etc. (4-9 minutes walk) - the "KAUFHOF" (health food shop DENNS, REWE, LIDL, ALDI, NETTO, PENNY, bookstore, Rossmann, etc. 15 minutes by foot or 2 min by car + without the parking problems of the historic center nearby ). Boat rental & excursion boat (7 minute walk), theater 23 on the Wakenitz, "School garden" & cafe Culinarium etc. Riverside walk or run along the Wakenitz.

Wir haben mit unseren Kajaks und Fahrrädern eine traumhaft schöne Woche in dieser Villa verbracht.
Durch den direkten Wasserzugang und das tolle Wetter konnten wir in der Wakenitz schwimmen
und unsere Kajaks nach dem paddeln einfach auf die Wiese ziehen.
Je nach Sonnenstand haben wir gerne beide Terrassen und die kleine Veranda genutzt, der große Tisch im Esszimmer blieb ungenutzt.
Mit dem Fahrrad oder auch zu Fuß kann man schnell zur wunderschönen Altstadt gelangen.
Toll ist auch das viele Info- und Kartenmaterial von Lübeck und Umgebung, welches zur Verfügung steht.
Die großen Bäume am Wasser sind ideal für unsere selbst mitgebrachte Hängematte gewesen.
Im Juni 25 kommen wir wieder und hoffen wieder so eine schöne Woche zu erwischen.
