Many of the recreational activities listed are just a few minutes' drive from the property. The entire Chiemgau, around the Chiemsee and the adjacent regions offer a variety of recreational opportunities.
Holiday destination
The Casa Shania is located in the outskirts with an unobstructed view of the mountains, near the center of Unterwössen. Ideal starting point for hikes and other excursions. Lake Chiemsee, Reit im Winkl and Tyrol in Austria can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Countless opportunities for a varied holiday await you, whatever the season. If you need special tips or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Getting there
Motorway A8, exit Bernau direction Reit im Winkl. In Unterwössen at the church turn right into the Alte Dorfstraße. Turn left after the play and garden center. Continue on the Alte Dorfstrasse and then continue straight on the Burgweg in the direction of Balsberg. At the turnoff to the gliding airfield keep left and continue on the Burgweg After approx. 200 m you will reach on the right side the entrance to your holiday home Casa Shania, Burgweg 18.

Liebe Petra und lieber Thomas, wir durften dieses Jahr unseren Urlaub in eurer schönen Ferienwohnung verbringen. Lieben Dank dafür, es wird ein unvergessliches Erlebnis sein für uns. Ihr habt uns herzlich empfangen, so dass wir uns auf Anhieb wie zu Hause gefühlt haben. Eine selbstgemachte Marmelade, ein Blumenstrauß und Getränke im Kühlschrank waren wirklich eine tolle Überraschung. Ihr habt eine individuelle Ferienwohnung, hübsch gestaltet, wie ich es mag. Die vielen Tipps über die Umgebung waren wirklich klasse und auch manch nettes Gespräch. Wir danken euch nochmals, kommen mit Sicherheit wieder zu euch und wünschen euch bis dahin alles Gute. Ankommen, auspacken und dann nur noch genießen! Es war ein absolut erholsamer Urlaub mit einem guten Mix aus Entspannen, Wandern und Gegend erkunden. Wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Aber wer weiß, vielleicht kommen wir mal wieder. Wir haben uns bei Petra und Thomas sehr wohl gefühlt. Die beiden sind sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit. Vielen lieben Dank dafür, auch für die Süßigkeiten, die leckere Marmelade und die kalten Getränke zum Start in den Urlaub. Das war eine tolle Überraschung.
