Holiday destination
Holiday home Monte is located in Kastelir, 7km from the sea (Lanterna) and 12km from the port town of Porec. Our comfortable and rustic house is situated on a quiet side street, providing a very child-friendly environment. Grocery stores, cafes, restaurants, and the post office are within walking distance. Here you can also buy fine, local olive oil.
Getting there
Salzburg-Villach-Karawanken Tunnel-Ljubljana-Koper-Croatian Border Kastel, towards Umag-Pula take the exit Visnjan-Porec sjever. Drive towards Porec, at the first roundabout take the first right towards Kastelir. Once in Kastelir, continue straight on the main road towards Vizinada and take the first street on the right. We wish you a safe journey!

Schon die Begrüssung durch unseren sympathischen Vermieter Ljubo und seine freundliche Hündin Tufy war einzigartig . Mit frischen Blumen, Getränken im Kühlschrank und einem selbstgemachten Likör zum Anstossen.
Das Haus war sehr sauber, liebevoll vorbereitet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Bequeme Betten, traumhafte Terrasse, täglich gereinigter Pool und sogar Meerblick vom Balkon; einfach perfekt!
In nur 15 Minuten ist man an einem wunderschönen, ruhigen Strand mit Schattenplätzen und günstigen Liegen; ein Tipp vom Vermieter, der uns mit vielen Ausflugs- und Genusstipps versorgt hat. Kleiner Geheimtipp: Unbedingt das köstliche Olivenöl probieren!
Unser Highlight war der überdachte Sitzbereich direkt am Pool, der selbst bei Regen Gemütlichkeit pur bot.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt in diesen 2 Wochen. Das Haus ist sehr sauber, gut ausgestattet und hat eine gute Ausgangslage für die umliegenden Städte am Meer. In der Nähe gibt's fußläufig 2 Restaurants, eine Bar (die selbst Bier brauen) und eine Weinprobe beim Winzer haben wir auch gemacht. Das war alles top! Vielen Dank an Herrn Martinovic, für Gastfreundschaft, die leckere Peka und die Mandarinen aus dem Garten am Haus :)
Das Ferienhaus Monte können wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!
