Cancellation policy
A cancellation must be made in writing. If the tenant cancels the rental agreement, the following cancellation fees apply:
a. for cancellation up to 42 days before arrival: 30% of the rental amount
b. for cancellation from 42 days (incl.) to 28 days before arrival: 60% of the rental amount.
c. for cancellation of 28 days (incl.) before arrival: 90% of the rental cost
d. for cancellation on the date of arrival and later: 100% of the rental amount
Cancellation insurance is advisable.

Other recreational opportunities
Directly behind the Waldhaus is the open-air stage, an open-air theatre that offers semi-professional performances in the summer. A nice change in your hiking or biking program to attend such a performance. Unfortunately there are no performances planned for the 2020 summer season due to COVID-19.
Holiday destination
Hallenberg is only 2 km from the Waldhaus. The authentic village centre with half-timbered houses and a small square near the church is very photogenic. The tourist office and the small cultural centre are on the village square. There are two luxury hotels in the village that have very good cuisine, they also receive day guests for wellness, yoga and massage. There is a small but cosy pizzeria in the village and there are several good supermarkets. The Waldhaus is located on the edge of the Hallenberg Forest, so hiking and biking are right outside the door. There is an indoor swimming pool 1 km away and a natural swimming pool in the summer. The golf course is only 13 km away in Winterberg.

Host informationHello, I am in the middle of our family, together with my brother, sister and father we have built Villa Pole as a family house on the shores of Lake Balaton. We all have fond memories of our vacation in Hungary, swimming, cycling and having fun with our friends in the Hungarian sun. In 2017 we started the renovation of our family house in Hallenberg (Germany). This Waldhaus ***** can accommodate 8 guests, with wellness, fireplace and great cuisine. The pool table is located near forests, a swimming pool and a ski arena and is now ready to welcome guests. In 2019 we will - for the first time - run from our Finis Hortorum family house (10 people) in France, with a beautiful interior and a beautiful garden with pool.
