Holiday destination
The Untermathon Hof is situated on a beautiful high plateau - the "Tschöggl" ridge (Monzoccolo). This region is a paradise for hikers and cyclists. The spa town of Merano with its Via Portici (shopping alley) is a short 25-minute drive away and worth seeing. Vöran/Verano is a small, idyllic mountain village, one of the sunniest villages in all of South Tyrol. Vöran has a good infrastructure and a new panoramic cableway.
Getting there
Travel route: Take the A22, exit Bolzano south (Bozen Süd), continue on the motorway MeBo towards Merano, take the exit Merano south (Meran Süd), follow the road towards Merano, at the roundabout, take the road towards Hafling, Hafling/Vöran, you'll reach Vöran after approx. 20 km. Turn right, then make a left turn at the church; you'll pass the elementary school (Grundschule); turn right onto the street 'Bachweg'. Follow the street for 700m then turn left. You have reached the Untermathon Hof.

Sehr schöne, hochwertig ausgestattete und gemütliche Ferienwohnung mit allem Komfort und traumhaftem Ausblick vom Balkon. Die gesamte Gastgeberfamilie ist sehr sympathisch und steht auf Wunsch jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Verfügung. Für Kinder ein Paradies mit vielen Tieren, Heuscheune zum Hüpfen und Herumtollen, Baumhaus mit Hängematte, Trampolin und vielem mehr. Wir sind begeistert und kommen nächstes Jahr wieder! Wir haben 10 sehr erholsame Tage auf dem Untermathon-Hof verbracht. Der Untermathon-Hof befindet sich am Rande von Vöran inmitten herrlicher Landschaft. Mit all seinen Katzen, Ziegen, Kaninchen und Kühen ist der Hof ein Paradies für Groß und Klein. In der wunderbar eingerichteten Ferienwohnung "Morgensonne" haben wir uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Begeistert hat uns dabei auch das Frühstück von Frau Innerhofer, die eine wahre Backkünstlerin ist. Auch außerhalb des Hofes gibt es viel zu sehen: Zum Ski-Gebiet "Meran 2000" sind es rund 15 Minuten Fahrt. Bozen und Meran, zwei wunderschöne Städte, sind - je nach Fahrtempo - in etwa 25 bis 30 Minuten zu erreichen. Hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten. Gerne kommen wir wieder!
