Mountaineering
The Eggenspitze and the Zufrittspitze are part of the Ortler massif and are a very popular destination for the more experienced mountaineers. To climb them, we recommend an overnight stay at the Höchsterhütte by the Grünsee, a unique refuge, managed for almost 30 years by Dominikus Bertagnolli. The Höchsterhütte offers a cozy and well-maintained atmosphere with excellent cuisine, where all dishes are lovingly and creatively prepared by the chef himself. Definitely worth a try! Gleck and Hasenohr are also recommended.
