In the municipality of Ponte Tresa, about 9 km away, a large, traditional Italian market takes place every Saturday .
Holiday destination
Right next to the resort is a pizzeria. Several shops can be found about a kilometre away. Likewise, the newly opened station, from which you can reach Milano every hour in about 75 minutes. A bus stop is right in front of the complex.
Getting there
You can reach our holiday apartment by car or public transport. Porto Ceresio with the nearest train station is about 1 km away, a ride from there on the public bus is possible several times a day. The bus stop is right in front of the complex. From the end of March until the end of October, you can also arrive several times a day from Lugano by boat. The nearest airport is Lugano-Agno, 15 km away.

Liebe Ruth, vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt in Deiner liebevoll gestalteten, sehr sauberen "il nido". Den wunderschönen Blick auf den See und die Palme! vom gut ausgestatteten Balkon mit Wäscheaufhänge, Sonnenschirm und gemütlicher Bestuhlung haben wir zum Frühstück genauso wie zum abendlichen Rotwein genossen. Tolle Lage an See mit direktem Seezugang und ein schönes Plätzchen für das Auto. Sehr nette persönliche Betreuung über Mail und Telefon. Ausführliche, gut verständliche Beschreibungen. Wir hatten selten eine so schöne und liebevoll ausgestattete Ferienwohnung, mit vielen kleinen Details, die einen sofort ankommen und den Urlaub genießen lassen. Wir fanden die Wohnung und das Gelände sehr schön und gepflegt. Nach Porto Ceresio ist es nicht weit (2 km), wo man Abends an der Promenade sehr schön laufen oder etwas trinken/essen kann. Auch die weitere Umgebung ist wirklich toll, mit vielen bestens ausgeschilderten Wanderwegen. Wenn wir nochmals am Luganersee Urlaub machen, wissen wir auf jeden Fall jetzt wo.
