Holiday destination
The rear of the Kiental/Gornere Griesalp, 1440m above sea level, near the UNESCO World Heritage site Jungfrau-Aletsch, with its wonderfully fresh mountain air, invites you to breath, enjoy and recharge your batteries. The lush alpine meadows, roaring waterfalls and countless easy and challenging hiking tours can be easily reached by taking the winding street starting at the village Kiental. Marvel at the Blüemlisalp massif when you have breakfast on the terrace. A lunch or Apéro (aperitif) in the setting sun? Or how about letting yourself unwind in the hanging chair after a nice, eventful day? What else could you want? Enjoy June/spring in the mountains with the flowering medicinal plants and alpine plants; the summer in July-August with pleasant temperatures and the mild and clear autumn days in September. Letting: Sunday to Sunday.
Getting there
Autobahn A6 Bern-Interlaken, take the exit Spiez and the right lane towards Frutigen Adelboden, Kandersteg - freeway. In Reichenbach, turn left towards Scharnachtal-Kiental. In the village Kiental, continue towards Tschingel-Griesalp. After the gradient and passing a gorge, take the left lane -ignore the "no through road" sign-, cross the bridge and you'll see the restaurant "Golderli", make a sharp left turn, then a right and cross the bridge - at the parking lot, continue for approx. 150m to the upper bridge - your destination is on the right. You can temporarily park at the bridge access road. Take the footpath across the bridge to reach the Spycher "Murmeli" (about 150m).
