Holiday destination
The Zillertal is located between Krimml and Zell am See and offers a variety on bike paths. The Krimmler Waterfalls are a true natural phenomenon. The Hohe Tauernmuseum gives insights in the world of the glaciers in the Alps. If you are keen in getting to know more about the daily life in the Alps visit the Bergbauernmuseum in Mittersill. Königsleiten and its astronomical observatory informs you about the nightsky. Directly located at the apartment a variety of hiking paths invite to explore the nature by foot or bike. For winter enthusiasts the entrance to the slope and cross-country ski trails are also right in front of the house.
Getting there
Motorway from Munich towards Innsbruck, exit Zillertal/Wiesing until Zell am Ziller. The other option is going over the Achenpass to Wiesing and Zell am Ziller. There you turn onto Gerlospass. After the village Gerlos there are only 6 km left until arriving in Silberleiten. Passing the damwall and finally the dam on your righthand side. A sign reads Königsleiten (left) and Silberleiten/Plattenalm (right). Ca. 50m before the restaurant you turn right into the holiday estate. House 4 (housenumber 81) is located next to the garage. The apartment is located at ground level. The carport is located at the lower garage with the number58.
Hint: the motorways in Austria are toll roads!!

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, und bietet alles was man benötigt. Wenn nicht sogar mehr, und die betten sind bequem)
Es mangelt der Ferienwohnung an Sauberkeit, was aber an dem örtlichen Reinigungsdienst liegt. Das war uns auch schon von anderen Ferienwohnung in der Anlage bekannt, und fließt deshalb nicht in die Bewertung mit ein. (Boden klebt, verschimmeltes Besteck in den Besteckschubladen, Spülmaschine bei Einzug voll mit dreckigem Geschirr)
Warum ich die Ferienwohnung nicht empfehle?
Der Kamin im Kachelofen ist verstopft. Nach 10 Minuten geht das Feuer bei vollbrand einfach aus, und der Rauch drückt in die Wohnung (leicht gefährlich). Dem Vermieter scheint dies bekannt zu sein, denn der Rauchmelder ist abgeklebt... Keine Rückmeldung von Fam Bauer

Wir durften die FeWo eine Woche beziehen. Es fehlt sich an nichts, sauber, großzügig geschnitten, alles vorhanden was man braucht. Die Lage, die Umgebung sucht seines Gleichen. Entfernung zum Lift max. 100m.
Noch dazu kommt der sehr nette Kontakt zu Else. Absolute Wiederholungsgefahr!!
