Holiday destination
The immediate vicinity there are plenty of opportunities for hikers and mountain bikers. Golf club right nearby. Through the central location, you can quickly reach cities such as Frankfurt, Würzburg, Miltenberg and Seligenstadt.
The Kahlgrund is a pure idyll. There are many rare birds, and hiking and cycling is perfect here. However, there are smaller climbs. There are plenty of excursions possible in the immediate vicinity. Something for everyone.

Host informationIn 1956, Birgit was born in Berlin-Tempelhof. She studied to become a bank official. At the previous Dresdner Bank. The focus was always on working with people, previously in marketing and today direct with the customers in the branches.
Norbert is 50 years old and also born in Berlin. He also studied in the banking industry at the former Berliner Bank. We met each other in the bank and married in 1981.
in 1982 it was a time of demonstrations and barricades in Berlin. So we decided to move our home to Bavaria. Nuremberg has been our home of choice for 16 years. Our 2 sons were born there in 1983 and 1987. For work we moved from Nuremberg to the Kahlgrund in 1998.
We get to know new people and that's just fabulous, and we look forward to meeting YOU!

Wir haben vier schöne Tage in der Ferienwohnung von Familie Ewel verbracht und können diese uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Die Ferienwohnung hat eine tolle, naturnahe Lage in einer ruhigen Wohngegend, ist liebe- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hat alles, was man für einen angenehmen Urlaub / Aufenthalt braucht. Selbst für unseren Hund war gesorgt mit Napf, Decke und Leckerlis. Die Terrasse mit Blick über den Kahlgrund ist fantastisch.
Wir wurden mit persönlichem Begrüßungsschild und einigen Leckereien (sowohl bei Ankunft als auch bei Abreise) verwöhnt und haben den herzlichen Kontakt mit den Gastgebern sowie den Plausch bei An- und Abreise sehr genossen. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Sehr schöne, klare Wohnung,dabei aber sehr gemütlich und großzügig.
Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienwohnungen, haben aber noch nie einen so netten "Willkommensgruß" erlebt. Sehr sauber!
Rundum einfach eine perfekte Ferienwohnung!
