In summer, hiking trails start right outside the door. There's a very large network of bicycle paths available. Short distances to Neuschwanstein, Linderhof Castle, the Falkenstein ruins....
Short distances to the ski resorts of Pfronten, Nesselwang, Schwangau, Jungholz, Tannheimertal. Many cross-country ski trails in the nearby surroundings. Winter hiking trails, toboggan runs and snowshoe tours complete the offerings of the region.
