Holiday destination
Location: beautifully central in Tuscany (between Pisa and Volterra), and in about 30-45 minutes you can reach the sea, Pisa, Lucca, or San Gimignano / Volterra. Our corner is still quite "untouristic," making it authentic and idyllic at the same time, with a generally very good price-performance ratio! Relaxation, culture, sea... everything is possible.

Die Wohnung liegt im ersten Stock und ist über eine steinerne Außentreppe erreichbar. Dadurch hat man einen wunderschönen Blick, es ist allerdings auch etwas mühselig, für die Mahlzeiten auf der schönen Außenterrasse immer alles hoch und runter zu tragen. Die Außenküche haben wir nicht genutzt, sie ist nicht wirklich praktikabel. Das Anwesen ist sehr gepflegt und einfach ein Traum. Besonders der großzügige Pool auf der Anhöhe, auch nur über eine Treppe mit 48 Stufen zu erreichen, hat uns begeistert. Das Haus ist nicht ganz einfach zu erreichen, das letzte Stück ist ein unbefestigter Schotterweg mit großen Schlaglöchern. Palaia ist sehr hübsch, zu Fuß sind es 30 Minuten. Alles in allem war es super, mit dem schönsten Panorama, das wir je hatten in der Toskana! Was aber definitiv fehlt, ist eine Klimaanlage.

Es handelt sich hier um ein sehr gepflegtes, traumhaftes Anwesen. Der Eigentümer wohnt zwar im Erdgeschoss, wir haben ihn aber, abgesehen von der An- und Abreise nicht gesehen, er stört einen nicht. Man kann wirklich, wie in der Beschreibung erwähnt, in Ruhe seinen Urlaub genießen. Das Anwesen liegt zwar etwas außerhalb (wir dachten bereits: da kommt nichts mehr...) und man hat eine relativ weite Fahrt zum nächsten Supermarkt, aber genau das ist auch der Vorteil: Sonst hätte man von den verschiedenen Terrassen nicht einen so traumhaften Ausblick.
