Holiday destination
Quiet location at forest's edge. Marked walking trails in immediate vicinity. About 10 minutes on foot to town centre, spa and casino, and just 5 minutes to the festival theatre. Restaurants ranging from affordable to star-rated within a short walking distance. Wine country and the Black Forest are a few kilometres away.
Getting there
On the A5 Autobahn, take the exit 'Baden-Baden' and then follow the B500 towards Baden-Baden. Leave the roundabout heading towards 'Centrum B500'. Very important: keep left and follow signage to 'Centrum, Kurhaus/Casino, Festspielhaus'. Following an S-bend, you will end up on 'Lange Straße'. After about 400 m, the theatre (Festspielhaus) is on the right, which can usually be recognized by the numerous flags. After another 400 m, you will see the Hotel Badischer Hof. At the end of the hotel with garden, please take a sharp right onto Kapuzinerstraße. After about 200 m, Kapuzinerstraße makes a curve as a one-way street and leads steeply uphill. Then make a slight right. When the street forks, keep left (otherwise you will go back downhill). Continue about 200 m to the last house on the left, #11.
