Holiday destination
The cottage is located at the etruscan coast and is only 12km from the sea within the green hills of the national park "Montioni".
There is a bar an a little store in the little village of San Lorenzo which is only 2km away, .
The small village of Suvereto is approx. 7km away and is a nice medieval village with restaurants, a pharmacy and small stores.
Venturina and Follonica are the next bigger villages with grocery stores etc.
Some of the beautiful beaches have restaurants, sunloungers etc., whereas some beaches preserve their natural characteristics with sand, fine grit or rocks. There is a perfect beach for everyone.
The beautiful city of Populonia, on top of the hill, offers an amazing view of the islands and beaches of Corsica and Capraia up to San Vincenzo and Cecina. Additionally, the medieval city offers a lot of culture, excavations of the etruscan city, etruscan steel works and remains of the old harbour as well as museums. It's also worth a visit due to the great natural beach of "Golfo di Barratti".

Ein gemütliches und komplett ausgestattetes Ferienhaus mit einem liebevoll angelegten Schwimmteich inkl. Außendusche, großartiger Umgebung, eingezäuntem Grundstück und einer netten Eigentümerin hat uns positiv am Anreisetag (spätabends) empfangen. Der Ausblick nach Elba und das Meer und über den Nationalpark hat uns jeden Tag aufs neue fasziniert. Wir genossen die Ruhe und die Landschaft, aber auch die Ausflüge. Nie gab es Probleme wegen unseres großen Hundes und wir haben die hervorragende, maremmanische/italienische Küche genossen (dank der tollen Tipps von Frau Wolfahrt). Die nahen Hundestrände (Dog Beach) sind empfehlenswert. Rundum hatten wir einen perfekten und erholsamen Urlaub, eine superschöne Umgebung und mit Frau Wolfahrt eine ausgezeichnete Gastgeberin. Wir kommen sicher wieder!

Bereits zum vierten Mal haben wir hier als Paar eine wundervolle Zeit in schönster Natur genießen können und freuen uns bereits jetzt auf die Fortsetzung in 2015.
Tre Querce ist landschaftlich einfach sehr idyllisch, im Schwimmteich gibt es immer tolles zu beobachten, die Umgebung bietet nebst zahlreicher Badestrände auch viel Kultur und Städte wie Siena, Pisa und Luca sind recht schnell zu erreichen. Wenn man nicht grade einer der Empfehlungen von Katrin im Hinblick auf die hervorragenden Restaurants in der Umgebung nachgeht, kann man in der bestens ausgestatteten Küche selber zaubern oder den Terrassengrill nutzen und in der Abendstimmung, bei Grillenzirpen, den Tag in aller Ruhe ausklingen lassen...
