The house is protected on a 12 m high cliff. The beach of Achlia is within walking distance (300m). There is a small super market 100m from the house.
Getting there
You reach Achlia after an incredibly beautiful drive - mostly along the coast - after around 90 min from the Airport Heraklion. You can also fly to Sitia (45 min drive) or Chania (3,5 hours drive).

Die ersten Nächte waren sehr warm, das Bett schmal und wir wollten die Klimaanlage nicht anschalten. Trotzdem für uns kein Problem, da ja noch das 2. Schlafzimmer zur Verfügung stand. Sonst alles wunderbar, sehr gute Ausstattung, gemütlich und sauber. Auch liegt eine Mappe im Haus mit nützlichen Informationen. Die Installation einer Photovoltaikanlage ist super! Sowohl von der Terrasse, als auch vom Balkon wunderschöne Aussicht auf das Meer. Leider gibt es keinen direkten Meerzugang, wahrscheinlich zu unfallträchtig über die Steilküste. Zum nächsten Strand muss man über die Hauptstraße gehen oder fahren, ist aber gut machbar.
