The holiday home is located in the middle of Garfagnana and is located in the small medieval village of Sillicano, surrounded by lush vegetation, very close to the well-known Natural Park of the Apuan Alps. Garfagnana is a lush green natural landscape in the northwest of Tuscany, in the province of Lucca. Here, guests can go on long cycling, hiking and trekking tours on the numerous green paths or visit the picturesque and charming villages in the area. The holiday home is also an ideal starting point for day trips to the well-known Tuscan art and culture cities in the area such as Florence, Pistoia and Pisa. The nearby historic town of Lucca is only a few kilometers away and the beaches of Forte Dei Marmi or Viareggio are not far away either. The nearest larger town, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, is 8 km away. Here you will find all kinds of shops, bars and restaurants, post office and banks. There are also a number of sporting activities all around: horse rides, golf, tennis, fishing in the river, rafting and canoeing or a visit to the thermal baths are just a small selection of options.
