Villa La Bastide is located in the wine village of La Motte, about 25 minutes from the beaches of Fréjus. There is space for several vehicles on the fully fenced, 1,600 m² site.
The country house, furnished in a modern southern French style, has 146 m² of living space, a fully equipped kitchen with an attached utility room accessible from the outside, and a large dining and living room with floor-to-ceiling windows and an open fireplace. 4 bedrooms with double beds, 2 bathrooms (one en-suite) and a study with desk complete the spacious space.
Outside, a large pool (12x5m, unheated), a shaded boules court, a half-open pool house with a large table and a well-tended garden invite you to relax.
The tennis club of La Motte is less than 100 m away (10 euros/hour, individual lesson with teacher 28 euros/hour, contact person gladly on request).
The Bastide is surrounded by wonderful wineries where the delicious rosé is grown.
In an email dated January 2023, the Dracénie Provence Verdon Intercommunal Tourist Office informed us that the tourist tax to be levied on guests by hosts in the Var department (where the Bastide is located) has been increased for 2023. The pro rata rate is 5% of the overnight stay per person, up to a maximum of €4.30 + additional taxes. La Bastide is located in the Provencal wine town of La Motte en Provence in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. It is 24 km to the beaches at Fréjus and 30 km to those around Sainte Maxime. A tennis court is just opposite the house; the St. Endréol golf course is 4 km away. Cannes can be reached in just 50 minutes by car and Nice in less than an hour. The nearest ski stations L'Audibergue-La Moulière and Gréolières les Neiges are only an hour and 15 minutes and a an hour and a half away, respectively.
On the A8 (E80) "La Provencale" towards Nice, get off at exit 36 "St Tropez / Draguignan / Ste Maxime" (green sign) or "Les Arcs / Roquebrune s / A. / Le Muy ", then always drive towards Le Muy. Then at Le Muy follow the signs towards La Motte / Callas / St. Endréol and turn left into Chemin des Correns when entering La Motte. The Bastide is the second entrance on the left, before the tennis club. It is best to enter the route on Google Maps or the navigation system (note: in some navigation systems there is a different spelling: Chemin des Courrens)
