Holiday destination
The flower town of Werder is located at the gates of Berlin and Potsdam. In a quick half hour by train you can be in the centre of Berlin. The train to Potsdam is just 10 minutes. Werder itself lies directly on the Havel, yes, sometimes even as an island on the Havel. Enjoy fresh fish right from the water, various restaurants and cafés with Mediterranean flair.
One of the most beautiful corners of Werder is the large Lake Plessow. Ideal for a daily swim. Grab your bathrobe, walk for three minutes and jump into the beautiful lake.
Getting there
Travelling by car is recommended. Of course, the train goes directly to Werder. The train station is approx 3 km away.

Wir sind angereist, um ein paar Tage in ruhiger Umgebung zu verbringen, und genau das war hier möglich. Das Haus ist hervorragend ausgestattet und sehr gepflegt. Besonders schön sind die beiden überdachten Terrassen, auf denen man bei fast jedem Wetter sitzen kann. An kühleren oder regnerischen Tagen ist es drinnen gemütlich, mit einer gut sortierten Bibliothek, Musik und Fernseher.
Herr Sönnichsen begrüßte uns herzlich und wir fühlten uns vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Wir freuten uns, wenn die beiden Dackel, Justus und Otto hin und wieder vorbeikamen (Natürlich wurde bereits bei unserer Ankunft gefragt wurde, ob das in Ordnung sei).
Alles in allem hatten wir eine ruhige, entspannte Zeit und fahren mit schönen Erinnerungen nach Hause. Ein Ort, den wir sehr gerne wieder besuchen und weiterempfehlen.

Das kleine Ferienhaus im skandinavischen Stil ist für 2 Erwachsene sehr gut geeignet. Die Einrichtung ist geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Bei unserer Ankunft waren die bequemen Betten bezogen, Handtücher lagen bereit. Sehr schön ist, dass die Fenster im Schlafzimmer mit Mückenschutzgittern versehen sind, so dass man bei offenem Fenster schlafen kann. In der Küche hätten wir uns eine etwas bessere Ausstattung mit Geschirr, Gläsern und Besteck gewünscht, damit man die Spülmaschine auch gut füllen kann.
Besonders schön ist das große baumbestandene Grundstück, man ist für sich in der Natur und kann je nach Tageszeit und Wetterlage die beiden Terrassen vor und hinter dem Häuschen nutzen.
Die Lage nah am Plessower See und der kurze Weg ins Zentrum von Werder sind ideal. Sehr empfehlenswert!
