Look for nice towns like Plauen, Zwickau, Franzensbad or Karlsbad. For the children there ist the nature and the playground arround the house. If you like to swim do it at Bad Brambach, Bad Elster or Schöneck (for children)
Holiday destination
In the neighbourhood are a couple of healthy bathproberties and special museums like Museum for musicintruments )Markneukirchen), Open Air Museum (Landwüst). If you like to look for technics see Dam in Muldenberg or the Vogtlandarena (skiflying) in Klingenthal. Nice places to see in a distance of 50 km are the town of the tip (Plauen), the bridge of Göltschtal, the Cave of the dragon. Don´t forget the fund for the children like the Leisure park Pohl, the Summer toboggan run or the fun bath in Schöneck. Friends of the winter find proberties in Aschberg, Mühlleiten or Schöneck.
Getting there
Our courtyard is placed in 'Vogtland' which is a part of the Free State of Saxony near the border to Czech republic and is called 'corner of music'. It is part of the national health city of Bad Elster/Brambach and is a district of Bad Brambach. To arrive to us it is easy by using the B92. From the South it will be the best to come from direction Czechia, otherwise you can drive the highway till gateway Oelsnitz/Plauen. The environment shines by its nature, the course of treatment and other attractions like 'Farmers Openairmuseum Landwüst' or 'Museum of Musical Instruments' in Markneukirchen. If you like skiing you will be at the skiing areas of Mühlleiten, Ascherg or Schöneck in less than one hour. Although the broader environs fulfils exclusives wishes: Dresden, Leipzig, reservoirs (bathing), take a cure, Czechia with 'Karlsbad' and 'Marienbad', Cheb, bridge of 'Göltztal' (the greatest brick bridge of the world) are examples for excursions, which you can do by yourself or organized.

Urlaub in der Ruhe Rohrbachs ist Erholung pur. Wenn die Sonne scheint geht es in eines der vielen Bäder in der Umgebung. Am Abend knistert dann das Feuer auf der Terrasse. Sollte es einmal regnen, bleibt immer noch der Rückzug in das gemütliche kleine Bauernhaus. Die ganze Familie fühlt sich wohl. Was will man mehr? Natürlich mehr Urlaub in Rohrbach!

... ergriff uns bei der Anreise, als wir von der befestigten Straße zur Hofzufahrt abbogen und unser Ziel erblickten. Da wir uns mit Pauschaltourismus irgendwie nicht anfreunden können, sind Landgasthöfe und Ferienwohnungen bzw. -häuser meist unsere Wahl. Und hier beim Ferienhof Zollfrank war diese ein Volltreffer! Ländliche Ursprünglichkeit trifft grundsolide Ausstattung, die vier Sterne-Klassifizierung sind vollauf gerechtfertigt. Ausschlafen in völliger Ruhe, Frühstücken im ehemaligen Stall, Blaubeeren jeden Morgen am Haus frisch pflücken, Pilze sammeln im Wald, mit den Enkeln Fußball spielen auf der Wiese - wir haben uns zu fünft (in drei Generationen) rundum wohl gefühlt, und das Vogtland bietet schöne Möglichkeiten der Erkundung, ob Natur, Kultur, Architektur oder Geschichte.
