The sea and the dunes are just 5 km away from our bungalow. We are located in the country's most beautiful hiking and cycling area.
With historic cities like Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Haarlem, Hoorn, and Medemblik, as well as cozy coastal villages like Bergen and Egmond aan Zee, the surroundings of Castricum can definitely be called diverse. Because between these mentioned places lie many other villages and towns, all of which are certainly worth a visit! Hikers will also find plenty to enjoy here.
