Holiday destination
Mauth/Finsterau is located in the district Freyung-Grafenau! The "three-river-city" Passau with its sights is only a short drive away. And we're not far from the border to the Czech Republic with the beautiful cities Krumlov, České Budějovice or Prachatice - known from the historic Salzsäumerweg (hiking trail).
You can choose from plenty of hiking and leisure possibilities. This area is also a paradise for cyclists. Hikers can enjoy the quiet and the clean air of the national park. Granite, graphite, schnapps and open-air museums.
Getting there
We recommend to travel by car via the A3, exit Hengersberg, through Grafenau and from there to Mauth, or take exit Aicha vorm Wald and continue on the
B12 to Freyung, at Freyung's roundabout towards Grafenau, after the Lidl supermarket you want to turn right towards Mauth-Finsterau, village Zwölfhäuser, Saußbachweg 2.
You can also take the train to Passau; at the central station, you can catch the bus towards Freyung, Mauth-Finsterau.

Die Wohnung ist toll, es fehlt an nichts, es ist alles da was man braucht, auch viele zusätzlichen Dinge, die man in einer Ferienwohnung nicht erwarten würde.
Markus ist ein spitzen Vermieter, der immer auch einen guten Tipp bereit hält und sich toll um seine Gäste kümmert.
Das Haus liegt super, der Ausblick ist mega schön, auf der Terrasse und im Außenbereich ist viel Platz zum Essen, Grillen, Spielen und Erholen. Bei schlechtem Wetter ist der Wintergarten eine tolle Oase. Man kann im Trockenen die schöne Aussicht bewundern und spielen.
Rundum sehr zu empfehlen, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung die nichts zu wünschen übrigen lässt. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Vermieter ist sehr herzlich und super freundlich und immer hilfsbereit. Wir können diese Wohnung auf jeden Fall weiter empfehlen und würden dort jederzeit wieder buchen.
