Regenerate in this wonderfully quiet area while staying at our 200-year old farmhouse, which we renovated from the ground up in 2015/16, using modern housing technology.
Unfortunately, the builders didn't make the house handicapped accessible, so one has to be mindful of the doorsteps and low lintels. Stairs lead to the apartment, which has a separate entrance.
The apartment is variably extendable (for a fee) from 1 to 3 bedrooms. The basic price applies when you book one bedroom, single occupancy is possible for a surcharge. The second bathroom is an en-suite of the 3rd bedroom and subject to availability.
With 55 to 90m² of living space, the flat can accommodate up to 6 guests. WiFi and parking spaces (in front of the house) are available at no extra cost.
Clay plaster ensures a good indoor climate; heating and hot water are generated from renewable sources.
Wherever possible, we left the old wooden beams and floors unaltered. The wood remained untreated.

Our house is situated in the country, away from the main traffic, on a residential street at the edge of the village, where you can see meadow orchards and the beginning of the Black Forest region from the balcony.
Start your hiking tour right at the house or use the cycling paths in the surrounding area. An outdoor swimming pool is 3 km away. In the nearby region, you'll find leisure pools, historic cities and the Wasserchloss Glatt (moated castle) with a miniature golf course. You can also take a day trip to Lake Constance and Straßbourg.
If you travel by car via Stuttgart, take the A81 and the exit Horb am Neckar or Empfingen. Go on via Neckarhausen, Glatt, Hopfau, Bettenhausen, follow then the route to Dornhan and turn the next right to Fürnsal.
Coming from Karlsruhe, you'll get here via Freudenstadt, Loßburg and Sterneck.

Cancelling up to 2 weeks prior to arrival, the fee equals the paid deposit.
If you cancel lather than that, you'll pay 70% of the agreed rental price.
The price for 2 persons per night applies for the use of one bed- and bathroom.
For an extra fee, you can book a double room for single occupancy.
The third bedroom with en-suite bathroom is only bookable for 5 or more persons or at an additional cost.
From the beginning of April to the end of October, we reserve the right to a minimum of 4 persons.
