Holiday destination
In the adjoining building is the Atelier Suzanne. The artist also offers painting courses here (www.atelier-suzanne.de). The house is nestled in the small village of Hartward. in the middle of the beautiful and wide East Frisian landscape, surrounded by fields, farms, paddocks and bird sanctuaries. The North Sea and the bear town of Esens are about 2 km away, the North Sea spas Neuharlingersiel and Bensersiel 6 km away. Since our area is known to be flat, everything is very easy to reach by bike.
Getting there
Motorways: A29 in the direction of Wilhelmshaven, B210 Wittmund/Aurich, before Wittmund in the direction of Inseln/Carolinensiel, via Neuharlingersiel in the direction of Bensersiel. In Ostbense, turn left at the Hotel Nordstern in the direction of Esens / Hartward. In Hartward, turn right into Osquarder Weg. A31 in the direction of Emden, exit 7 Neermoor/Timmel, in the direction of Aurich, in Aurich on the B210 Wittmund/Wilhelmshaven, at the Landgasthof alte Post turn off to Esens, keep in the direction of Bensersiel. After the crossroads at the mill, turn right from Bensersieler Straße into Hartwarder Straße. In Hartward, turn left into Osquarder Weg. By train: From there we take a taxi to Esens. To the north and from there continue by bus.
