Holiday destination
The holiday apartment is surrounded by the Lipizzaner stud farm. Many possibilities for outdoor activities on well marked hiking and cycling routes. The famous wine-producing area, known as the Styrian Tuscany or "Weinstrasse", is only 20 to 40 km away. In Piber11th century church. Further, Museums, theatre, opera, cabaret, open air performances and cinemas in the city of Graz. Many restaurants and "Buschenschanken" throughout the Styrian countryside in general.
Getting there
Highway A2 - exit Mooskirchen, drive to Köflach, then through Köflach to Piber, at the sign for Piber and the "Bundesgestüt" turn left, then go straight through the no driving zone uphill, turn right at the "Gasthaus" and drive 50m, there is the Landhaus Piber to your left.

Wir haben lange gesucht und dann diese super tolle Fewo gefunden. Die Einrichtung ist sehr stilvoll und hat in allen Details überzeugt; sprich unseren Aufenthalt gekrönt. Der Anlass nach Piber zu reisen ist jedoch ein anderer. Für uns als Norddeutsche standen die Berge mit den unvergesslichen Fernsichten über Berge,Täler und Stauseen etc. im Vordergrund. Nicht unerwähnt sollen die Almen mit den rustikalen Jausenstationen bleiben. Hier kann jeder nach Herzenlust schlemmen. Selbstverständlich darf auch das steirische Gold l das sehr beliebte und verbreitete Kernöl nicht vergessen werden. Diese Spezialtät aus der Steiermark verfeinert nicht nur Salate sondern ist auch sonst vielseitig zur Speisenveredelung verwendbar. Fazit :auch das Gestüt unbedingt anschauen . Danke H.Kalb :-)
