Holiday destination

Wapse is located between Diever and Vledder in the Westerveld municipality. Just 100 m from the house "Puck", there is "de Wapse Herberg", where one can enjoy excellent dining, including very good regional meals. Drenthe is the largest cycling province in Holland and is famous for the "Hunnebedden". Within a 10 km radius, there are beautiful villages such as Giethoorn (the Venice of the North, which is also featured on the new version of the Monopoly game), the Dwingeloo museum "Planetron Cinedome", and the "Vledder Museum" with fake art. In Diever, there is an open-air theater and during the summer, performances of Shakespeare are held. There is a bus stop next to "de Wapse Herberg", at the entrance of the park. Here, you can also rent bicycles, both regular and electric. In winter, there is a natural ice rink, just behind the house.
