Holiday destination
Rovinj, a former fishing village on a penisula, south of the largest strait in the Adriatic, called "Lim Fjord", with many bays and 7 small islands around the town, attracts with its ancient architecture, a famos artist colony in the streets of old town, large forests and parks up to the shore and 2 navies in place, every year many visitors.
The distance of Villa to the beach is only 150 m. The beach run along of shore ca. 2,5 km. Restaurants, bars, water- sports, swimming-pools and taxi-boot to the centre of Rovinj are 24 h available. For a stroll in the historic town of Rovinj it is only 2,5 km (5 minits by car, 10 minits by bike, or 15 minits by taxi-boot from the beach).
Getting there
From Munich over Villach, Ljubljana, Koper ca. 6 driving-hours,
from airport- Pula ca. 1/2 hour,
from Venedig by speed- boot ca. 2,5 hours,
from Triest by car ca. 1 hour.
At the main way to Rovinj- centre you will drive trough the "pine-avenue". At the 3. rondo with an old olive-tree, you should turn to right and folow the direktion of "Amarin". So you'll come to the part Rovinj- Borik. At the main way of Borik, in front of the small market, you should turn to left into the street Val de Lesso. At the next possibility (ca. 200 m) you shold turn to right and again to right. So you'll come to our Villa from the upper street, below the old pine. There you should park your car.
