Holiday destination
Herzberg is a small town in the Southern Harz and is ideally placed as a starting point for activities.
The Harz National Park begins on the edge of the town. The nature and swimming lake is 5 minutes from the house and is very inviting for a swim in the summer and for a walk all year round. The interesting Unicorn Cave is 3 km from the house and a walk in the beech forest is an experience.
The nature playground in Sieber will thrill the little ones. But there is also space to let off steam on the school yard which is really close by.

Sehr viel Platz, alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden.
Ruhig, schöne Umgebung, gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten.
Ideal für Erholung - auch in Gruppen oder für große Familien.

Meine Frau und ich hatten die Wohnung 3 gebucht, die sich in dem schönen, alten Landhaus in ruhiger Lage befindet. Sie ist außerordentlich geräumig, sehr gepflegt und hat - insbesondere in Küche und Bad - alles, was man braucht. Gern sitzt man bei schönem Wetter zum Frühstück in dem zur Wohnung gehörenden kleinen Wintergarten. Die Vermieter, Frau und Herr Stolper, sind ausgesprochen freundlich und sehr bemüht, den Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Der Ort Herzberg ist keine Touristenhochburg und hat auch ein wenig unter der Pandemie gelitten. Dafür genießt man die Ruhe und die schönen Ausblicke. Ansonsten verfügt Herzberg über völlig ausreichende Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und ist Ausgangspunkt schöner Wanderungen und Besichtigungstouren im Harz. Alles in allem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
