The most popular sport on Lanzarote, especially amongst tourists, is definitely cycling. The wonderful wide, well-kept streets and limited traffic makes cycling on the island great fun for visitors. You can also go hiking on the volcanoes to admire the impressive craters and the view over the unique moon-like landscapes. The more interesting aquatic sports include surfing on the breezy beaches of Famara and Arrieta in the north, together with scuba diving and snorkelling. Lanzarote is also home to the internationally famous world IRONMAN competition. The island has spectacular golf courses suitable for players of all levels and harmoniously inserted within the natural landscape to ensure a relaxing, refined golfing experience.
Holiday destination
Villa Mici is located in the south part of Lanzarote, the warmest and not so windy part, in a very quiet and nice complex near the lighthouse of Pechiguera. The house is close to the Montana Roja Volcanoes.In a very few minutes driving you can easily reach beautiful beaches like the very well known "Playas del Papagayo". Very close to the Villa there is also the small town of Playa Blanca with shops and Restaurant with its wonderful seafront promenade. From the airport it take more or less 30 minutes to arrive at the Villa. We suggest to rent a car to visit and enjoy the beauty of Lanzarote.

Zunächst waren wir unsicher, ob wir ein Ferienhaus im Ausland oder lieber eine "sichere" Pauschalreise buchen sollten. Wir haben die Entscheidung nicht bereut. Wir mieten regelmäßig in Deutschland Ferienhäuser und hatten selten ein so schönes Haus, das absolut und in vollem Umfang den Bildern entspricht. Geschmackvoll, sauber, super gut und ruhig gelegen. Einfach rundum wunderbar! Der Pool war tatsächlich warm. Vermieter sind oft freundlich und wir haben gelernt, dass das nicht immer etwas zu bedeuten hat. Aber hier hatten wir mit Anna und Paolo Gastgeber, die diese Bezeichnung verdient haben. Hatte man eine Frage, so waren Anna und Paolo sofort ansprechbar und antwortbereit. All die guten Bewertungen gibt es hier zurecht! Es ist ein sehr gutes Haus, geschmackvoll und zum Wohlfühlen!

Wir haben eine wunderbare Woche in der Villa Mici verbracht. Von Anfang an bestand ein sehr netter Kontakt zu den Besitzern Anna und Paolo. Bereits die persönliche Karte zur Begrüßung mit einigen Leckereien war ein toller Start. Die Villa ist sehr gut ausgestattet, es fehlte an nichts. Im Haus ist alles liebevoll dekoriert und man fühlt sich fast wie zu Hause. Der Garten mit dem schönen Pool lud uns oft zum Entspannen ein. Die Info-Mappe mit den zahlreichen Restaurant-Tips war Gold wert, wir haben viele getestet und sind nie enttäuscht worden. Sollten wir nochmal nach Lanzarote reisen, würden wir sehr gerne wieder in die Villa Mici kommen.
