Cancellation policy
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel a confirmed booking, written notice of the cancellation must be sent to us.
Cancellation of a booking includes, but is not limited to:
• Cancellation of one or more days of a booking
• An amendment of a booking, so that none of the dates of the booking once amended, fall within the same dates that originally constituted the booking
• Failure of all guests to provide the required documentation upon arrival (passports or suitable identification)
• An attempt by you or a member of your party or visitors to hold an event at the Ionian Pearl (in breach of our Terms and Conditions), or breach any of the rules applicable to the Ionian Pearl
In the event that you cancel a confirmed booking, the following cancellations fees will apply:
• 30% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made more than 60 (sixty) days before the start of the rental period
• 50% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 30 (thirty) and 60 (sixty) days before the start of the rental period
• 100% of the total rental amount will be forfeited if the cancellation is made between 1 (one) and 29 (twenty nine) days before the start of the rental period
The applicable amount will be deducted from the deposit and monies paid. We will refund any remaining monies to you.
Please note that these cancellation terms apply for regular booking periods. Special cancellation terms may apply for high/peak seasons and will be stated on our booking confirmation. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.
Amendments
Once a booking confirmation is issued by us, a fee of 50€ will apply to each amendment made. We will do our best to accommodate reasonable amendments, but you should note that some changes may not be possible.
Please note that these amendment terms apply for regular booking periods. Special amendment terms may apply for high/peak seasons and will be stated on our booking confirmation. If the information in any of these is inconsistent, the most recently issued terms will prevail.
In the unlikely event that we are unable, for any reason, including sale of the property or force majeure, to provide you with the Ionian Pearl, as booked by you, we reserve the right to transfer you and your party, after consultation with you, to an alternative villa of similar type and value. If the price of the alternative property is less than the original booking we will refund the difference. If the price of the alternative property is higher than the original booking, the difference may be charged to you. However, if after considerable effort on our part that no alternative property (of similar, higher or lower value) is available and/or no agreement can be reached between us, then we or you may opt to cancel the booking and the Rental Contract. In this event we will refund all monies paid without further compensation.

Holiday destination
Messonghi still retains its charm and has not been overdeveloped. The centre of the village is a ten minute walk from the Ionian Pearl. There are supermarkets and a bakery, snack bars, fish restaurants and traditional Greek tavernas that serve local Corfiot dishes not found anywhere else in Greece.
The beach is shingle and well organised with sun beds and umbrellas for rent.
Getting there
Please contact us for detailed directions from the airport or ferry ports to the Ionian Pearl. Alternatively we can arrange a private taxi transfer.
