Holiday destination
The Nietleben neighbourhood is a village created in the 1950s on the edge of Halle, which has retained its village structure. It is in the immediate vicinity of the Dölauer Heide forest and the Heidesee. Nietleben can be reached with the suburban train, the bus and the tram easily from the city centre or Central Station. Direct from the suburban train for Nietleben, 5 minutes' walk from the holiday home, there is a parking lot with an electrical charging post.
Getting there
By car: Drive into Halle-Neustadt on the national road to the branch toward Dölau and Harzgerode. That is the exit after the swimming pool you'll pass on the left. From there go to the next traffic light. On the other side you'll see the "Bergschänke" restaurant. Cross the intersection and drive straight on to the next street and turn left.
Suburban train: Terminus Nietleben, keep going, the next street on the left
Tram or bus: Tram lines 2, 9, 10 and 11 to "Schwimhalle", further with bus 21 and 41 to "S-Bahnhof Nietleben", and then further with the suburban train.

Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern ein verlängertes Wochenende genossen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Uns hat ein Haus mit
viel Charme erwartet. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt.

Falls wir wieder nach Halle reisen würden, müssten wir nicht wieder lange nach einem geeigneten Quartier suchen.... Auch die nächtliche Ruhe haben wir sehr geschätzt - die hätten wir in der Innenstadt wahrscheinlich nicht gefunden.
Gute Öffi-Verbindungen: 7 Min Fußweg zur S-Bahn (S3), alle 30 Min in die Innenstadt. 15 Min frische Luft-Fußweg zur Straßenbahnhaltestelle "An der Eselsmühle". Von da fahren mehrere Linien in die Innenstadt, so dass wir nie lange gewartet haben. Rückfahrt abends auch keinerlei Problem. Bei der Ausstattung der wohnung haben wir nichts vermisst. JN
